Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc. Expands Recall for Chicken and Pork Fried Rice, Ramen, and Shu Mai Products Due to Possible Foreign Matter Contamination
March 3, 2026 - Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc., a Portland, Ore., establishment, is expanding its Feb. 19, 2026, recall of frozen not ready-to-eat (NRTE) chicken products that may be contaminated with foreign material, specifically glass, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced. The establishment is recalling approximately 33,617,045 additional pounds of various ready-to-eat (RTE) and NRTE chicken and pork fried rice, ramen, and shu mai dumpling products, for a combined total of 36,987,575 pounds subject to recall.
This expansion includes 16 products produced between October 21, 2024, and February 26, 2026, under brand names Ajinomoto, Kroger, Ling Ling, Tai Pei, and Trader Joe’s. These products have best-by dates ranging from February 28, 2026, through August 19, 2027. View product list. View labels.

Saputo USA Recalls Great Value Cottage Cheese Because of Possible Health Risk
February 24, 2026 - Saputo Cheese USA Inc. (SUSA or Saputo) is voluntarily recalling select cottage cheese products produced by SUSA due to the possibility of liquid dairy ingredients used in the items not being fully pasteurized according to state regulatory standards. While no illnesses or hospitalizations associated with the recalled products have been reported to date, consuming products that are not fully pasteurized can pose a significant health risk, especially to the young and elderly or immunocompromised individuals.
The affected products were sold under the Great Value label and were distributed to Walmart stores and distribution centers in multiple states, including Kansas, between February 17 and February 20, 2026, and includes the products in the table at the link above.

Rosina Food Products, Inc. Recalls Ready-To-Eat Frozen Meatball Products Due To Possible Foreign Matter Contamination
February 22, 2026 - Rosina Food Products, Inc., a West Seneca, N.Y. establishment, is recalling approximately 9,462 pounds of ready-to-eat (RTE) frozen meatball products that may be contaminated with foreign material, specifically metal, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced.
The RTE fully cooked frozen meatball products were produced on July 30, 2025. The following products subject to the recall are [view labels]:
- 32-oz. printed poly film bag packages of fully cooked frozen “Bremer FAMILY SIZE ITALIAN STYLE MEATBALLS” containing “about 64 meatballs per package” with “BEST BY” date of “10/30/26” with timestamps between 17:08 through 18:20 printed on the back of the label.
The products subject to recall bear establishment number “EST. 4286B” inside the USDA mark of inspection. The affected products have a 15-month shelf-life and were shipped to Aldi supermarket locations nationwide.

Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc. Recalls Chicken Fried Rice Products due to Possible Foreign Matter Contamination
February 19, 2026 - Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc., a Portland, Ore. establishment, is recalling approximately 3,370,530 pounds of frozen not ready-to-eat (NRTE) chicken fried rice products that may be contaminated with foreign material, specifically glass, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today.
The NRTE chicken fried rice items were produced between September 8, 2025, and November 17, 2025. The following products are subject to recall [view labels]:
- 1.53-kg. cardboard packages containing 6 bags of frozen “AJINOMOTO YAKITORI CHICKEN WITH JAPANESE-STYLE FRIED RICE” with BEST BEFORE/MEILLEUR AVANT dates 26 SE 09 through 26 NO 12.
- 20-oz. (1 lb. 4 oz.) plastic bag packages containing frozen “TRADER JOE’S Chicken Fried Rice with stir fried rice, vegetables, seasoned dark chicken meat and eggs” with BEST BY dates 9/8/2026 through 11/17/2026.
The products subject to recall bear establishment number P-18356 inside the USDA mark of inspection. The Trader Joe’s item was shipped to Trader Joe’s retail locations nationwide.

IF Copack LLC dba Initiative Foods Recalls “Tippy Toes” Brand Apple Pear Banana Because of Possible Health Risk | FDA
February 3, 2026 - IF Copack LLC d.b.a. Initiative Foods (“Initiative Foods”) is recalling one lot of the “Tippy Toes” brand Apple Pear Banana Fruit puree (“Product”) due to elevated levels of patulin. Patulin is a naturally occurring substance (called a mycotoxin) which is produced by molds that may grow in various fruits, including apples. Long-term exposure resulting from ingestion of patulin can lead to various adverse health consequences, including a potential for immune suppression, nerve damage, headache, fever, and nausea. No illnesses or injuries have been reported to date.
The Product was distributed nationwide in retail grocery stores in all U.S. states other than Alaska. The Product may have been distributed in the U.S. territories of Guam and Puerto Rico.

Gerber Products Company Announces Voluntary Recall of Limited Batches of Arrowroot Biscuits Out of an Abundance of Caution Due to Potential Presence of Foreign Material Following Supplier Recall
January 26, 2026 - Gerber Products Company is initiating a voluntary recall of limited batches of Gerber® Arrowroot Biscuits out of an abundance of caution due to the potential presence of soft plastic and/or paper pieces that should not be consumed. The material comes from an arrowroot flour supplier who initiated a recall. We are no longer working with the flour supplier.
This recall is isolated to limited batches of Gerber® Arrowroot Biscuits 5.5oz products produced between July 2025 and September 2025. In the U.S., this recall is nationwide.
No other Gerber® products are impacted by this recall.
Batch codes can be identified on the back of the product packaging. Please utilize reference images in the link above and look for the 10-digit batch code prior to the best before date.

Suzanna’s Kitchen Recalls Fully Cooked Breaded Chicken Products Due to Misbranding and an Undeclared Allergen
December 12, 2025 - Suzanna’s Kitchen, a Suwanee, Ga., establishment, is recalling approximately 62,550 pounds of fully cooked, bone-in breaded chicken products due to misbranding and an undeclared allergen, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. The product contains soy, a known allergen, which is not declared on the product label.
The 8-piece cut, bone-in breaded chicken portions were produced Oct. 16, 2025. The following product is subject to recall [view labels]:
- 18-lb. cases containing four units of “FULLY COOKED BREADED CHICKEN PORTIONS,” with case code “P-1380 126237 B30851 23:11 K04” printed on the side of the packaging.
The product subject to recall bears the USDA mark of inspection on the case’s label and establishment number “P-1380” printed on the side of the package. These items were shipped to restaurant locations nationwide.

White Castle Frozen Food Division Recalls Frozen 4-Count Cartons of Original Sliders Due to Undeclared Milk and Soy
December 12, 2025 - White Castle Frozen Food Division has initiated a recall of 1,021 cases of its retail frozen 4-count cartons of Original Sliders due to undeclared milk and soy. The carton may contain Jalapeño Cheese Sliders. Jalapeño Cheese Sliders contain milk and soy, allergens that are not on the Original Slider carton label.
The recalled product was shipped to retailers between August and October 2025. The 4-count Original Slider cartons impacted by the recall were sold primarily in convenience stores in potentially all 50 states.
The recalled 4-count, White Castle brand Original Sliders, are packaged in a blue and white cardboard box with UPC# 0-82988-02969-3. Each 4-count carton includes individually wrapped packs of two Sliders. The recalled lot codes are 9H203521 and 9H203522, which can be found printed within a light-blue bar on the end panel of the carton followed by the best by date. Please note that only the full lot codes listed above are included in the recall. Any product that does not include all eight characters of the lot codes listed above is not included in the recall. The cartons of 4-count Original Sliders have a 270-day frozen shelf with Best By Date: April 18, 2026.

Silvestri Sweets Issues Voluntary Allergy Alert on Undeclared Pecan and Wheat in Cookie Butter Holiday Bark and Pecan, Cranberry & Cinnamon Holiday Bark
November 26, 2025 - Silvestri Sweets Inc. of Geneva, IL is voluntarily recalling its 5-ounce bags of Choceur branded Holiday Barks because they may contain undeclared allergens. Choceur branded Cookie Butter Holiday Bark may contain undeclared pecans. Choceur branded Pecan, Cranberry & Cinnamon Holiday Bark may contain undeclared wheat.
The recalled items were distributed nationwide through Aldi grocery stores.

The Ambriola Company Issues Recall of Cheese Products Because of Listeria Health Risk
November 25, 2025 - The Ambriola Company is recalling select Ambriola, Locatelli, Member’s Mark, Pinna, and Boar’s Head cheese products after routine testing confirmed the presence of Listeria monocytogenes. Out of an abundance of caution, the Company is also recalling additional cheese products processed at the same facility in West Caldwell, New Jersey.
The affected products were distributed to retail stores and distributors nationwide between November 3, 2025 and November 20, 2025 and include the products listed in the table at the link above.

ByHeart Broadens Voluntary Recall While Investigation Continues
November 11, 2025 - ByHeart is expanding its voluntary recall to include all batches of ByHeart Whole Nutrition Infant Formula cans and Anywhere Pack™ nationwide. This action is being taken in close collaboration with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), despite the fact that no unopened ByHeart product has tested positive for Clostridium botulinum spores or toxin. Consumers who have purchased ByHeart Whole Nutrition Infant Formula cans and Anywhere Pack™ should immediately discontinue use and dispose of the product.

In Response to a Broader FDA Investigation, ByHeart Initiates a Voluntary Recall of Two Batches of Infant Formula
November 8, 2025 - ByHeart, a next-generation baby nutrition company, announced today that, out of an abundance of caution, it has chosen to voluntarily recall two batches of ByHeart Whole Nutrition Infant Formula following notification from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of a broader ongoing investigation into a recent outbreak of infant botulism.
ByHeart was notified by the FDA on November 7, 2025 of an estimated 83 cases of infant botulism that were reported nationwide since August 2025. Of these, the FDA also noted that 13 infants received ByHeart formula at some point. The FDA has not identified a direct link between any infant formula and these cases and there is no historical precedent of infant formula causing infant botulism. Botulism is extremely uncommon in dairy products or infant formula, and is naturally occurring in environmental sources like soil, select vegetables, and dust.
ByHeart adheres to the highest standards of Global and U.S. recommendations for product testing and safety. No ByHeart product has tested positive for any contaminants.

JFE Franchising, Inc. Issues a Voluntary Recall Associated with a Nationwide Peach Recall Because Of Possible Health Risk
November 3, 2025 - JFE Franchising, Inc. of Houston, TX, is voluntarily recalling a limited number of peach salsa products containing California-grown yellow and white peaches because they may be contaminated with Listeria. There have been no illnesses or consumer complaints reported to date. This action is in response to the October 29, 2025, recall issued by Moonlight Companies, whose peaches were supplied to retailer partners, used as ingredients in our Peach Salsa and sold through Kroger.

Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream, Inc. Issues Allergy Alert on Undeclared Wheat in Haagen-Dazs Chocolate Dark Chocolate Mini Bars in 6 Count Pack
November 3, 2025 - Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream, Inc. is voluntarily recalling a limited number of its Häagen-Dazs Chocolate Dark Chocolate Mini Bars that may contain undeclared wheat. Those with an allergy or severe sensitivity to wheat run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products. The affected product is Häagen-Dazs Chocolate Dark Chocolate Mini Bars in the 6-count package with batch code LLA519501 and a Best By date of January 31, 2027. The affected product was shipped to two retail customers, Kroger and Giant Eagle, in various states, including Kansas.

Moonlight Companies Voluntarily Recalls California-Grown Conventional Yellow and White Peaches Because of Possible Health Risk
October 29, 2025 - Moonlight Companies is voluntarily recalling California-grown conventional yellow and white peaches because they have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Although healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. Listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.
The recalled peaches were sold at retail stores nationwide between September 16, 2025 and October 29, 2025. The peaches were either sold as individual pieces of fruit bearing PLU stickers or as multi-packs. This recall does not include packages or PLU stickers with the words “Washington” and/or “Organic.” The recalled products are listed in the summary table at the link above, and images are below the table.

Hormel Foods Corporation Recalls Ready-To-Eat Frozen Chicken Products Due to Possible Foreign Matter Contamination
October 25, 2025 - Hormel Foods Corporation, an Austin, Minn. establishment, is recalling approximately 4,874,815 pounds of foodservice ready-to-eat frozen chicken products that may be contaminated with pieces of metal, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today.

Product was distributed by Haitai, Inc. and sold at various supermarkets nationwide. The affected Haetae (HT) Cinnamon is packaged in a square plastic bottle, with medium brown color with undertones of orange and red appearance. Ben’s Original™ Issues Voluntary Recall of Select Ben's Original Long Grain White, Whole Grain Brown, and Long Grain & Wild Ready Rice Products Due to Possible Presence of Small Stones from Farm | FDA
October 10, 2025 - Ben's Original is initiating a voluntary recall in the United States on a limited number of Ben's Original Long Grain White, Whole Grain Brown, and Long Grain & Wild Ready Rice products due to the possible presence of small, naturally occurring stones originating from the rice farm. These small stones pose possible risk of oral or digestive tract injury if consumed.
This recall is limited only to the batch codes and best by dates listed in the table at the link above, both of which can be found on the bottom seal of the back of the package. Impacted retailers are not limited to those listed in the table as additional retailers may have purchased products distributed by Associated Grocers, C&S, and Dot Foods from August through September.

Sprouts Farmers Market is Recalling Smoked Mozzarella Pasta Salad Because of Possible Health Risk
October 8, 2025 - Sprouts Farmers Market of Phoenix, AZ is recalling select lots of Smoked Mozzarella Pasta Salad sold from the deli service counter or Grab & Go section because of possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. Listeria monocytogenes is an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people and others with weakened immune systems. Although healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea, Listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women. Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a healthcare provider.
This is being initiated after being alerted by their supplier Fresh Creative Foods of potential Listeria monocytogenes contamination of the pasta within the pasta salad. No illnesses have been reported to date.
Product was distributed to Sprouts stores in multiple states, including Kansas. Product was distributed starting on 8/31/25 through 10/7/25.

Tai Foong USA Issues Allergy Alert on Undeclared Shrimp in Fusia Asian Inspirations Veggie Spring Rolls
October 8, 2025 - Tai Foong USA of Seattle, Washington is recalling a limited quantity of Fusia Asian Inspirations Veggie Spring Rolls, net wt. 10oz, because the product may contain shrimp, a known allergen, that is not declared on the label. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to shrimp or shellfish run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.
The affected Veggie Spring Rolls were distributed exclusively to ALDI stores nationwide and sold under the Fusia Asian Inspirations brand.
The product is a 10-ounce (283.5 g) retail package identified by UPC 4099100222258 and the Best Before date 05/17/2027 printed on the back panel of the retail box.
No other Fusia Asian Inspirations products are affected by this recall.

FSIS Issues Public Health Alert For Ready-To-Eat Meals Containing Riced Cauliflower That May Be Contaminated With Listeria
October 7, 2025 - The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is issuing a public health alert for FSIS-inspected ready-to-eat meals produced by FreshRealm containing a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulated ingredient, specifically riced cauliflower, that may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes (Lm). Based on current evidence, the products included in this public health alert are not related to any ongoing outbreak investigations. A recall was not requested because the products are no longer available for purchase.

- Sold by Blue Apron: 13.05-oz. plastic tray packages labeled "DISH by Blue Apron Cheesy Chicken Mac with Vegetables" with lot codes 25240 and 25247. The product bears establishment number "P-3081."

October 4, 2025 - Foster Poultry Farms, LLC, a Livingston, Calif. establishment, is recalling approximately 3,843,040 pounds of chicken corn dog products that may be contaminated with extraneous material, specifically pieces of wood embedded in the batter, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced.

The products subject to recall bear establishment number “P-6137B” either inside the USDA mark of inspection or printed on the packaging. While the products were distributed to schools, it resulted from commercial sales and not part of food provided by the USDA for the National School Lunch Program.

October 1, 2025 - Following a recall initiated by Nate’s Fine Foods of Roseville, CA, Demers Food Group has voluntarily recalled select Scott & Jon's Shrimp Scampi with Linguini due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The voluntary recall was initiated because these products contain a recalled linguini pasta ingredient supplied by Nate’s Fine Foods which was recalled for Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The product was distributed nationally to wholesale distributors and operators between 9/15/2025 and 9/25/2025.

September 29, 2025 - Wholesale Produce Supply of Minneapolis, Minnesota is recalling fresh cut/processed cantaloupe, because it has the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Fresh Cut Cantaloupe was sold to distributors in Nebraska, North Dakota and Wisconsin, who may have distributed into other states under the “Harvest Cuts” and “Fresh and Finest” brand at traditional grocery locations.

The Hillshire Brands Company Recalls Corn Dog and Sausage On A Stick Products Due To Possible Extraneous Matter Contamination | Food Safety and Inspection Service
September 27, 2025 - The Hillshire Brands Company, a Haltom City, Tex. establishment, is recalling approximately 58,000,000 pounds of corn dog and sausage on a stick products that may be contaminated with extraneous material, specifically pieces of wood embedded in the batter, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today.
The corn dog and sausage on a stick products were packaged between March 17, 2025, and September 26, 2025. A list of the products subject to recall can be found here: [view product list]. The labels for the impacted products can be found here: [view labels].
The products subject to recall bear establishment number “EST-582” or “P-894” printed on the packaging. These items were sold online and shipped to retail and food service locations nationwide. They were also sold to school districts and Department of Defense facilities nationwide. While the products were distributed to schools, it resulted from commercial sales and not part of food provided by the USDA for the National School Lunch Program.

September 25, 2025 - The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is issuing a public health alert for ready-to-eat meals containing a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulated pre-cooked pasta that may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes (Lm). FSIS expects more updates as this investigation continues. As more information becomes available, FSIS will update this public health alert. Consumers should check back frequently because additional products may be added.

September 20, 2025 - AquaStar (USA) Corp of Seattle, WA is recalling: approximately 49,920 bags (net wt. 2lbs) of Kroger Raw Colossal EZ Peel Shrimp; approximately 18,000 bags (net wt. 2lbs) of Kroger Mercado Cooked Medium Peeled Tail-Off Shrimp; and approximately 17,264 bags (net wt. 1.25lbs) of AquaStar Raw Peeled Tail-on Shrimp Skewers because they may have been prepared, packed, or held under insanitary conditions whereby they may have become contaminated with cesium-137 (Cs-137).

September 19, 2025 - The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is issuing a public health alert for a ready-to-eat (RTE) turkey wrap product due to concerns that the product may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. A recall was not requested because the affected product is no longer available for purchase.

September 10, 2025 - Gooder Foods, Inc. is recalling 5 lots of Vegan Is Believin’ – Plant Based White Cheddar with Spirals produced as they may contain milk, which is not listed on the label, and 3 lots of Here Comes Truffle – Creamy Truffle Flavored Cheddar and Shells, as they may contain cashew which is not listed on the label. The recalled lots were produced between April 7 and April 15, 2025.
Persons who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk and/or cashew may run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
